We had the absolute pleasure of working with Courtney for our wedding on October 19th in Santa Cruz. Planning the wedding from LA, it was important to us to find someone local who truly understood the area. We were drawn to Courtney because of the beautiful work we had seen on her social media—and she did not disappoint.
From the start, she brought such a calm and grounding presence, which made the entire day feel effortless. She captured the most meaningful moments—not just of us and our guests, but also of our son and beloved dog, which was so important to us. My husband and I decided to have a secret pandemic elopement which meant finding the perfect photographer and videographer was extremely important to us and we got all of that and more! Courtney’s team was extremely easy going and felt like long time friends even though we just met. They made our day go smoothly and we appreciated their loving energy. If you are debating getting your special day videoed, do it! I had friends tell me their biggest regret was not getting their wedding videoed. At one point Courtney was even on the videographer’s shoulders to get the perfect shot of my dress! They’ll go above and beyond to get incredible shots for you.

Firstly, she was super easy to work with from the beginning - communicative, and flexible to work with us on what we wanted.

Secondly, it was a really small and intimate wedding; but despite being the only person there who wasn't immediate family, Courtney blended right in, and made everyone feel super comfortable and natural around the camera.

And finally, most importantly, the photos are amazing! She captured so many great moments - very few of the photos were posed (except the ones we wanted), so they capture real moments, AND somehow everyone still looks great in them! She also did an amazing job at incorporating the natural setting (a redwood forest) into the photos, which was important to us. She really captured the feel of the whole day even better than we'd hoped.
